Here I am at Royal Gorge Bridge. Signs on the bridge indicate records set for highest bungee jump and highest free rappeling ever.
On my bad days I think I might want to set the record for longest bicycle drop.

I laughed out loud about your most recent post, the proposed "longest bicycle drop" from the bridge, and more. I am so, so impressed - and the pictures - you look like a pretty fit old geezer (and, if you'd quit telling us your "geezer quotient", most would not know!). Anyway, great riding, reading and great photos. I gather you are headed up towards the Wind River Valley, into the Tetons, Yellowstone then the Montana Territory - what lovely country. When you get a feel as to when you'll make the Portland area (yeh, I'm getting ahead of myself, and, your route), let us know. Ned and I, if we can, would love to meet you up that way. Go, man, go!
